Hi, my name is Teresa Arnulfa Alvarado and I was born in Cantón El Aguacatal, La Palma, Chalatenango. “Today, this work remains my primary source of income, helping me support myself alongside the occasional assistance I receive from my daughter, who lives in the United States. Many of the textiles I create are offered at the Ex-Cuartel Artisan Market in San Salvador, where visitors can discover handmade pieces that carry not only tradition and skill, but also a lifetime of dedication behind every thread.”
